Non-profit governance

The governance of non-profit organizations is guided by the same principles as those of any other organization.
The fundamental difference between them and private enterprise is that the primary responsibility of board directors is to act primarily for others’ benefit rather than for the organization’s profit. This orientation then, changes the approach directors must use to guide the organization’s direction and oversee its sustainability.

Examples:
